Storm Jonas blessed the east coast with a blizzard that shut down the city this past weekend. I love storms like this, where everyone is confined to their neighborhoods but venturing out in the snow, all bundled, like we're all little kids again. There always seems to be a great feeling of community when cities shut down. Passersbys offering more greetings than usual, strangers helping each other with stuck cars (we helped push two cars stuck in the snow!), and so on.
Here's a few images from our snow walk a few hours into the blizzard.
