Weekend Farmers Market

While the winter sees significantly less stands at the Farmers Markets around the city, it is by no means less bountiful. Nothing makes me happier on the weekends then a fresh, yummy sourdough loaf, some raspberry jam, and tea, so the bread stand at the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket is a must. The crates and crates of apples called for a long overdue apple pie, that my boyfriend and I made from scratch. My go to for a quick apple pie recipe can be found in 'The Art of Simple Food' by Alice Waters. It's so yummy and simple, I may have to make some more this weekend!
